Question-1: What kind of mental health services does FURSAT offer?
We offer
1. Individual therapy
2. Group therapy (example long-term interventions with one specific group like the elderly or caregivers)
3. Arts Based Therapy workshops for specific needs of specific populations (example - conflict management among adolescents, emotional regulation among people with symptoms of anxiety, decision making among leaders)
4. Supervision (Individual and Group) to early career practitioners to support their practice
Question-2: Who can seek support from FURSAT?
1. Individuals- Anyone from the age of 5 and above (people experiencing mental health concerns, symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, identity-related concerns, career-related issues, relational challenges). We DO NOT offer Couples and Marriage Counselling and Queer Affirmative Counselling.
2. Groups - Any group with specific mental health needs (ADHD, Neurodivergence, Caregivers, Leaders, Social Workers)
3. NGOs/Organisations/ Firms - To support employees' mental wellbeing and address risks in a systemic fashion based on the needs of the population
Question-3: What is FURSAT’s approach to mental health and psychosocial care?
1. Care - We approach the space of psychosocial care with softness, gentleness and patience. Person-Centred and strengths-based approaches guide us holistically.
2. Creativity - Arts-Based Practices shape the joyful and playful journey of healing. So our team will use lots of art supplies that are lying around unused.
3. Community - Having witnessed the power of a community, we heavily rely on building resources that are closer to you, socially, culturally and physically. We enable individuals to reconnect with available resources (people, pets, places, books, etc.) to regain strength and support based on their needs.
Question-4: Who are the professionals and facilitators working with Fursat?
We are currently a team of four people. One therapist and three interns. We are hoping to expand as much as possible.
Question-5: How can individuals, NGOs, or institutions collaborate with FURSAT?
We are open to facilitating short-term (half-day or one-day) and long-term (1-week to 6 months) interventions with communities/ groups/ cohorts in need.
We are open to brainstorming a new project with your team to co-facilitate learning spaces, practice-based supervision spaces and therapeutic offerings.

Question-7: I do not understand technical terms. Can you explain what do you mean by arts-based therapy, person-centred approaches and narrative practices to support emotional healing?

Question-8: How will I choose an appropriate care plan for myself?
Our practitioner will have a FREE consultation call for about 10-20 minutes. Based on your concerns, both of you can mutually decide which care plan would be suitable for you.
Question-9: How can I book a session for supervision?
The same slots for Therapy Sessions are also available for Supervision. You can book it via the same option. Our team will get back to you regarding the details. In case, you have any particular doubts, reach out to us via DMs/email/Whatsapp.
Question-10: What are the cancellation and refund policies?
The consent form for individual and group therapy includes all the details. Kindly note that these policies are revised annually in the best interest of clients depending upon their feedback and ethical dilemmas faced in practice.
